You can choose to stay and watch the fun unfold, grab a coffee next door at Rebecchi’s, or duck out and come back at the end of the session.

Each day is a new creative adventure.
From paint pouring and abstract drawings, to nature collages and colourful canvases, no two sessions are ever the same.
Our team guides each child step-by-step through the process and not the artwork itself so that no two art-works are the same. Our goal is to run fun projects that build confidence, fine motor skills, and self-expression - all while keeping the vibe light, playful, and a little bit messy (as it should be).
We finish with a mini showcase so parents can see just how much their little artist has achieved.

Let’s put a twist on the classic portrait!
In this drawing session, kids will explore portraits using bold outlines, shapes and their own creative style. We’ll look at different ways we can represent faces and people without worrying about making them look perfectly realistic.
Kids can experiment, add their own personality and create a portrait that is completely their own. As always, there’s no pressure for everyone’s artwork to look the same. We’re all about exploring ideas, building creative confidence and having fun along the way.

Yeehaw! We’re heading to the Wild West for this one.
Kids will create their very own cowboy inspired painting, exploring colour, shape, pattern and plenty of personality along the way. They might create a cowboy, cowgirl, horse, boots, hats or dream up their own Wild West scene.
We’ll provide the inspiration and painting techniques, but exactly what ends up on the canvas is up to them. There’s plenty of room to make it weird, wonderful and completely their own.

We’re giving old vinyl records a very colourful second life!
Kids will use a vinyl record as their canvas, transforming it with paint into their own piece of wall art. They can explore pattern, colour, imagery and whatever ideas they want to bring to their design.

Kids will get hands on with plaster to create their very own decorative bowl. We’ll explore the process of shaping and creating with plaster before adding colour and decorative details to make each piece completely unique.

Inspired by colourful neon signs, kids will create a painting designed to look like it’s lighting up the canvas. They’ll play with bright colours, lettering, symbols and imagery to design their own pretend neon sign.

We’re heading under the sea!
Kids will create their own mermaid inspired canvas painting filled with colour, imagination and underwater magic. They might paint a mermaid character, an underwater scene or take the theme somewhere completely different.
We’ll explore some painting techniques together, but kids will have plenty of freedom to choose their colours, details and direction to make their artwork their own.

Big letters, bold shapes and lots of personality!
Kids will learn how to turn ordinary letters and words into fun bubble writing, experimenting with different letter shapes, outlines, shadows and decorative details.
They might create their name, a favourite word or a whole phrase before adding colour, patterns and their own style. A fun way to explore lettering without worrying about having “perfect” handwriting.

Kids will create a fun animal painting with one very important addition: accessories! Think dogs in party hats, cats in glasses, crocodiles with handbags or whatever ridiculous combination they can dream up.

In this painting session we’ll look at the work of artist Sheree Smith before using what we notice as a starting point for our own artworks.
Rather than copying one painting, kids will explore the colours, shapes and ideas that catch their eye and use them to create something in their own style. It’s all about taking inspiration and seeing where their own creativity takes it.

From koalas and kangaroos to wombats, cockatoos and everything in between!
Kids will choose an Australian animal as the inspiration for their drawing and learn some simple ways to break their subject down into shapes, lines and details.

Kids will cut, build, join and transform cardboard into their very own 3D sculpture. They might create an animal, character, building, object or something that doesn’t even have a name yet.

Tiny clay creations, but this time you can take them everywhere!
Kids will use colourful polymer clay to design and make their own keychain creations. We’ll explore some simple clay techniques including shaping, layering and adding tiny details before turning their finished pieces into keychains.
They can make characters, animals, food, symbols, favourite things or invent something entirely their own. Perfect for adding to a school bag, pencil case or keys.

What does music look like?
For our final session of the holidays, we’re turning up the music and seeing where it takes our paintbrushes! Kids will listen to different music and explore how sound, rhythm, mood and movement can inspire colour, lines, shapes and marks on the canvas.
